New Richmond Mainstreet

The City of New Richmond, known as "The City Beautiful", is located in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, approximately 40 miles east of the St. Paul/Minneapolis Metro Area. New Richmond is home to approximately 7,899 residents. We are very proud of our "Main Street"- the window of our community. It provides an excellent setting for financial and professional services, shops and specialty stores. Our growing Business and Technical Park, has several highly technical businesses and a Super Walmart. New Richmond offers one of the premier 27 hole golf courses in the state. We live in a small town with big-city services. City Beautiful it is, in setting, in character, and quality of life!

The rapid growth we have experienced in the past few years has created new challenges for our city. Our website allows us to effectively communicate with our residents, businesses, and visitors and become a more efficient organization in conducting business through the development of this site. We hope you find our site most accommodating and easily accessible. In addition, staff will continue to provide friendly, courteous and professional service.

NOTICE - Effective January 1, 2009 New Richmond will have a new Shared Ride Taxi Provider.  They will be hiring dispatchers and drivers (full-time and part-time available).  If interested, please stop at City Hall and see receptionist for application.

NOTICE - The compost site is closed.  It will reopen in the Spring.
