Agricultural Policy Analyst Daryll Ray Set For Annual Louisiana Rice Meeting on Jan. 28

CROWLEY, LA — Daryll E. Ray, Ph.D., director and founder of the Agricultural Policy Analysis Center and holder of the University of Tennessee’s Blasingame Chair of Excellence in Agricultural Policy, will be the keynote speaker at the joint annual meeting of the Louisiana Rice Council (LARC) and Louisiana Rice Growers Association (LARGA) on Wednesday, Jan. 28. 

Ray will discuss agriculture in a post-financial crisis era and the impact of the financial crisis on export markets, as well as other agricultural policy and trade issues. LARC President Jimmy Hoppe and LARGA President Jeff Durand will provide updates on the activities of their organizations.
