A new law and regulations, effective December 5, 2008, permit licensed pharmacists who obtain an additional certification to administer influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations to adults 18 years of age and older.

Driver Education Report Available
The Temporary Special Advisory Panel On Driver Education Availability and Curriculum Enhancement Report is now available. It provides key recommendations to improve teen driver safety and public health. The advisory panel was co-chaired by Education Commissioner Richard P. Mills and Department of Motor Vehicles Commissioner David J. Swarts.
