CHICKS 

We order all of our chicks from Sunnyside Inc, of Beaver
Dam. This is a copy of their flyer and what can be ordered
through us- if you live near the Cashton WI area, they
will be delivered to our office for pickup. 

Sunnyside Jumbo Broilers 
Every year the Sunnyside Jumbo Broilers make more happy
customer. Broad breasts, strong legs, excellent feed conversion
and livability make for a top broiler or roaster. This fast growing
meat type bird can average 5.8 lbs. for pullets, 6.5 lbs for
straight run and 7 plus lbs. for cocks in 8 weeks.

White Leghorn
The White Leghorn is the top producer of large white eggs.
Its early egg size, feed efficiency, excellent livability and
shell quality can’t be beat. Females weigh 2.75 to 3 lbs at
20 weeks and 3.8 lbs at maturity.

Hobby Farm Assorted
This is a mixture of our heavy strains of chicks only, and
does not include the leghorn breed. The strains and sex
are hatchery choice.

Fertile Hatch Eggs
White Leghorn fertile hatch eggs are available for school
and research projects. Egg cost varies with quantity.
There is a mailing and handling charge unless eggs can be
delivered to the mill on the days Sunnyside has us on their
route. (Schedule at bottom of page)


Started Pullets
White and brown egg started pullets available first part
of August and first part of September. Order as soon as
possible to reserve pullets 

Dual Purpose
The males are buff color with a few dark feathers and
weigh 5-6 lbs. at 20-22 weeks. The females are reddish-
brown similar to the Rhode Island Red and weigh 5 lbs at
maturity. The Browns lay well, are easy to handle,
extremely hardy and have excellent egg quality.

Black
Sunnyside’s Black is an excellent bird for egg and meat
production. They lay and live extremely well under most
farm conditions. The males are black with white flecks,
very similar in appearance to the Barred Plymouth Rock.
They weigh 6-7 lbs at 20-22 weeks. The females are
basically black and weigh 5 – 51/2 lbs at maturity.

Special Black
Bred for the Asian market, our exclusive Special Blacks are
solid in color, now with both males and females predominately
black. With a reputation for great livability and hardiness,
our new Special Black grows slightly faster and bigger than
the Sunnyside Black.

Turkeys

White
Commercial turkeys raised today are the large Broad Breasted
White variety. Females can be expected to weigh 16-18 lbs in
14-26 weeks and Toms 30 lbs in 18-20 weeks.

Bronze
The Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys are similar in size and
confirmation to the Broad Breasted White turkeys. The Bronze
are especially beautiful to behold with their large colorful
wing span.
