Black Sunnyside’s Black is an excellent bird for egg and meat production. They lay and live extremely well under most farm conditions. The males are black with white flecks, very similar in appearance to the Barred Plymouth Rock. They weigh 6-7 lbs at 20-22 weeks. The females are basically black and weigh 5 – 51/2 lbs at maturity.
