The 1/5 is currently training in preparation to deploy to the Middle East sometime in the spring of 2009. The City of Costa Mesa encourages the community to become involved in supporting the 1/5 Marine Battalion and their families with donations of needed items and financial contributions.

Build Green Incentive Program
The Costa Mesa City Council is pleased to announce a second, nine-month Build Green Incentive Program to encourage and assist all City residents and businesses to Build Green.  The Build Green Program is being offered from September 17, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
