The Attorney General's Office makes a difference every day for the people of Washington -- through its work as the state's chief legal officer and through key initiatives such as:

As the chief legal office for the state of Washington, AGO attorneys and staff, in 27 divisions, provide legal services to more than 230 state agencies, boards and commissions, as well as representing the citizens through antitrust enforcement and protecting the environment and utility customers.  The office also provides Attorney General's Opinions.
