I recently held two town hall meetings in Southeast Colorado. We had a really good turnout and I would like to thank all of those folks who participated. I plan to hold more town hall meetings in 2009 and hope to see you there.
Starting a new year is a great time to focus on a better and brighter future for Colorado's ag industry, but it can't be accomplished by one person or group. We must work together for a more productive future. I encourage all of you to be advocates for agriculture in 2009 and not only promote your role, but the industry as a whole. Together, we can work through challenges facing today's agriculture and continue to build on our successes.
Happy New Year,
