Boll Weevil Eradication Program
The Boll Weevil Eradication Program has helped thousands of U.S. cotton growers become more competitive by reducing their input costs, and has helped the environment.
 
Cotton Nematode Research and Education Program
This Cotton Foundation project, sponsored by Bayer CropScience, provides producers, consultants, extension personnel and others useful information on detecting and controlling cotton's "hidden enemies".
 
Cotton Seedling Disease Research Program
This Cotton Foundation project has helped cotton producers, consultants and others determine: 1) losses to the seedling disease complex, 2) the basic disease spectrum in each locale, 3) fungicide use and method of application in each state and 4) a "point system" to assist in determining when and how to use fungicides for seedling disease control.  The project is supported by a grant from Bayer CropScience.
 
Pink Bollworm Eradication
The objective of this program is to eradicate the pink bollworm from all cotton producing areas of the United States and adjacent areas of northern Mexico. The pink bollworm is costing U.S. cotton producers over $32 million each year in control costs and yield losses.
 

Weed Resistance Learning Module
The NCC is hosting this free online course aimed at helping cotton producers stay ahead of the game in fighting weed resistance, thus maintaining long-term stewardship of their acreage. The course received financial support from The Cotton Foundation via grants from Monsanto, Syngenta and Dow AgroSciences.

Cotton Incorporated has published a bulletin to help producers manage herbicide resistance. The document was reviewed by a panel of internationally recognized experts in pest resistance management.
