Welcome to the Rogue River Basin Project

The Rogue River Basin project is located in scenic southwestern Oregon and consists of three distinct project areas: Applegate Lake, Lost Creek Lake, and Elk Creek Project.

The dams found at these sites (William L. Jess Dam at Lost Creek Lake and the Applegate Dam at Applegate Lake) provide a number of benefits for the Rogue Valley, including: flood reduction, fishery enhancement, irrigation water, improved water quality, wildlife enhancement, water supply for municipal and industrial use, hydroelectric power production and recreation opportunities.

We hope you enjoy exploring the Rogue River Basin Project in more detail on this website and visit us soon!
