Aerial Short Courses

January 12-15 2009

The Crowne Plaza (formerly the Holiday Inn Select Bell Tower) will be the official hotel again this year. The location will be the Lee County Mosquito Control District, Ft. Myers, FL.

Registration is now open for the 2009 Aerial Short Courses. The registration fee of $150 per attendee should be paid in advance by credit card, or by check at the door. Hotel reservations (Crowne Plaza, Fort Myers, Florida) should be arranged for yourself.

The course structure is going to be similsr to the USAF Reserve Aerial Spray Course held each year in Youngstown, OH. The primary organizers are Karl Haagsma and Mark Breidenbaugh.

There will be a "DoD Personnel Only" day on Monday, then the main FlyIn course will start at 8 AM on Tuesday ( most people might need to book the hotel for Monday-Wednesday nights) and go through midday Thursday. If you want to attend the Monday DoD program - let them know on the registration form. Karl and Mark are planning on allowing civilian attendees to sign up for demonstration flights on the C-130 (out of Page Field) on Thursday morning - the numbers that can be accommodated may be limited.
