Join WWOOF!

You are encouraged to apply if you are willing to work cooperatively with organic farmers for 4-6 hours per day. If you are under 18 years of age, you must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Children and pets are welcome at many farms, just be sure to ask the host farmer before arriving.

What You Get

When you become a member of WWOOF-USA, you will receive access to the online directory immediately. Our directory includes more than 700 host farms in the US, including Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands.

After you sign up online with a credit card, or once we receive your application by mail, expect about 7-10 business days for your directory to arrive, longer if you live outside of the US.

The directory serves as a membership card that you must show to farmers upon arrival to his/her farm.

I understand that WWOOF-USA’s function is limited to providing WWOOFers with the current host list and that WWOOF-USA cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss, or damage. I release, indemnify, assume the defense of (if requested), and hold harmless WWOOF-USA and its directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all liability, loss, damages, costs or expense (including attorney’s fees). I agree to produce the WWOOF-USA directory and suitable identification to my WWOOF host for membership verification upon my arrival.

After You Join

Once you receive the directory, contact the farm(s) where you are interested in WWOOFing. You may need to reserve a place well in advance of your arrival. Check with hosts if you have special needs, such as diet, or if you are interested in bringing children or pets. Different hosts can make different accommodations, and with more than 700 farms in the directory, you are sure to find what you are looking for.
