We are a 10-acre organic farm located in the Applegate Valley of Southwestern OR. We grow an acre of mixed vegetables for a cooperative CSA and two farmers’ markets. We also raise pastured poultry. WWOOFers participate in all aspects of farm business, including propagation, planting, harvesting and cultivation. We are looking for hard-working volunteers who are willing to stay for at least 2 weeks or more. Tent camping is available. We expect volunteers to work six hours/day, six days/week. Veggies and eggs available to volunteers. One weekly meal is included. We are a part of the Earthly Bounds intern program which provides educational classes and social opportunities for interns in the Applegate Valley. We cannot accommodate pets nor children. Please no drugs or alcohol. We may be able to arrange transportation, but call ahead. We are committed to ecologically sustainable farming methods and teaching new farmers how to farm viably in the United States. Please only serious volunteers who are eager to learn and work hard.
