Hi John,
Chanay brought in her suet
recipe. Here it is:
1 cup of peanut butter
2 cups quick oats
2 cups fine ground corn meal
1 cup lard (no substitutes)
1 cup flour (white or wheat)
1/3 cup sugar
Melt lard and peanut butter.
Stir in other
ingredients and pour into molds.
Refrigerate if
storing less than 1 week,
otherwise freeze.
You can also add bird seed,
shelled nuts,
or dried fruit to the mix.
