Funding
The
Center for Profitable Agriculture (CPA) is the states primary
outreach and educational program for evaluating, planning and developing
value-added agriculture projects and enterprises. During the past
three years, the Agricultural Development Center (ADC), which has
been incorporated into the new CPA, has secured more than $1,350,000
in external funds for enhancing the movement of value-added agriculture.
External
funding enhances the ongoing educational programs of CPA that provide
information and services to enhance the success and sustainability
of agriculture in Tennessee.
