ALLSTAR SEED COMPANY, located in the Imperial Valley, California, is dedicated to the production, conditioning and sales (domestic and international) of Bermuda grass seed, Alfalfa seed (dormancy 8,9 and 10) Piper Sudan grass, Wheat, and other field seed products.

JOB SCOPE

This position will be to lead, develop and manage the seed conditioning plant. In addition, the position must participate in overall station activities to meet company ISO 9001 objectives leading to the company’s success, budget, people development, and Environmental Health & Safety.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The primary purpose of this job is to assist the plant manager in all his duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1- Supervision of employees.
2- Inventory record keeping.
3- Training of future employees.
4- Supervise plant operation

EDUCATION

A degree in agriculture is desired.

SKILLS/DIMENSIONS/EXPERIENCES

1- Strong interpersonal skills.
2- Self motivated.
3- Excellent verbal and written skills.
4- Ability to adapt to challenges and changes.
5- Must have a prior experience in management.
6- Computer knowledge, Windows/Office experience is a plus.
