Proposed 29Palms Training Land/Airspace Acquisition Project Public Meetings On behalf of the United States Marine Corps regarding the Proposed 29Palms Training Land/Airspace Acquisition Project, the Navy invites you to participate in the project scoping meetings for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). These meetings offer more information about this project and they will provide you with an opportunity to share your views on the issues and alternatives that are being proposed for study in the EIS. Desert Managers Group Awarded Off Highway Vehicle Green Sticker Funds The Desert Managers Group announces the Desert Tortoise Outreach Project has been awarded a $95,000 grant from California State Parks Off Highway Vehicle Recreation Commission. OHV grants are awarded to cities, counties, special districts, federal agencies and non-profit organizations. DMG Draft Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Application Available The 2008 draft off-highway motor vehicle grant application for the Desert Manager's Group Tortoise Education and Outreach Project is available for public review at the Oasis Visitor Center in Twentynine Palms. |
