We are seeking motivated individuals who desire to be part of a
dynamic Cucurbit trait-marker development team in
Woodland, California.
Ideal candidates will have excellent molecular biology skills.
The positions require strong attention to detail, the ability to
work in a team environment and to track and manage complex
projects under the direction of the lead scientist.
Required Skills/Experience/Attributes:
-
Bachelor’s degree with previous training in molecular
biology.
-
DNA
extraction, PCR and other routine molecular lab skills.
-
Cloning,
DNA sequencing and DNA sequence analysis skills are highly
preferred.

Familiarity with MS Office programs (Word, Excel and
Access).
-
Training
in plant genetics and molecular biology.
-
Experience using BLAST search functions, genetic mapping
programs, QTL and other genetic analysis programs is
desirable.
