We are seeking several motivated individuals who desire to be
part of a dynamic marker-assisted backcrossing team in
Woodland, California. Ideal candidates will have excellent
molecular biology skills. The positions require strong attention
to detail, the ability to work in a team environment and to
track and manage complex projects under the direction of the
lead scientist.
Required Skills/Experience/Attributes:
-
Master’s
or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in
molecular biology, genetics, plant science or related
fields.

DNA
extraction, PCR and other routine molecular lab skills.

Familiarity with MS Office programs (Word, Excel and
Access).

Training
in plant genetics and experience in databases, lab
automation and protocol development.
