Lifestyles of East Coast Butterflies

Rick Cech

Rich Cech is a natural history author and photographer. He writes, "Butterfly lifestyles reflect intimate links with the host plants on which they feed." He will discuss why butterflies select only certain hosts and how those host plants fight back. He will bring copies of his book. More information can be found on his bio page.

Directions

Take I-91 to exit 6, Willow St. Turn right on Willow and follow it to its end at Whitney Avenue. Turn right on Whitney Ave and take the third left onto Huntington St. Go up the hill past the stop sign, and the Experiment Station will be on the right. The meeting will be held in the Jones Auditorium, which is in the central building on the second floor.

This facility is handicap accessible.
