Responsibilities
-
Design, implement and execute
the marketing plan, which incorporates all marketing mix
elements (price: price proposals for all products, forms,
countries; product: proposals for the assortment; promotion:
plans, budgets, actions; place: market/product combination;
people: coaching and developing) in order to contribute to
the profitability for the assigned crop.

Design, implement and monitor
the sales plan per crop (set up per customer, area, and
crop) as well as adapt and communicate these adaptations
within the organization (stock, production) in order to
maximize crop profitability.

Inform M&S management
regarding market developments (price levels, competition,
new product forms) as well as design and advise regarding
the M&S strategy in order to adapt and apply system,
procedure, policy and strategy (production plan, L.C.D.,
R&D)

Advice regarding the cost
budget and keep M&S budget costs under control.

Design and advice regarding
the production plan and monitor the development in order to
guarantee an optimal production plan and stock level (no or
less depreciation on stock).

With the consultation of
product development and account manager(s), design and
advice regarding adaptations in the assortment and after a
reliable trial program in order to ensure the profitability
for the crops.

Manage and steer the Crop
Sales policies and procedures in line with the company’s
vision and values in order to realize crop objectives and
individual targets in an effective way as well as ensure an
effective and efficient Crop Sales department.

Execute claim handling in
order to handle claims in an effective and efficient way.

Implement credit management
procedures in order to ensure sufficient money collection
and realize positive cash flow.

communication skills required.

Language skills: English
required, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Must be willing to travel both
domestically and internationally.

Possess exceptional
interpersonal communication skills

Strong understanding of the
Protected Crop growing concepts and business practices.
