To whom it may concern:

I am hereby expressing my concerns about the FDA proposed rules on
genetically engineered (GE) foods.  As a consumer, I want health and
ecological safety testing and mandatory labeling of GE foods.

The FDA should require:

    1)  Mandatory pre-market comprehensive environmental review;
    2)  Mandatory pre-market long-term health testing;
    3)  Mandatory labeling of GE products.

The FDA must become totally independent from the industries it
regulates.  FDA advisory committee meetings must avoid conflict of
interest.
