Subject: genetically engineered foods

I am writing regarding the FDA's policy on allowing
genetically engineered foods to go on the market
without requiring labelling of any sort. The American
public is already misinformed about this issue. For
those of us who DO know about genetically altered
foods, who have a RIGHT to know which foods have been
genetically altered, this is unacceptable. Scientists
don't even know yet what the results of genetically
altered food will be over a long period of time. I
can't believe that the FDA can be so lax about this. 

The American public has a right to know what is in the
food they eat, and where it comes from. Please change
FDA policy, and DEMAND that all genetically engineered
foods are labelled.
