About the CHLC Project

The goal of the Cooperative Human Linkage Center was to develop statistically rigorous, high heterozygosity genetic maps of the human genome that are greatly enriched for the presence of easy-to-use PCR-formatted microsatellite markers.

While the Cooperative Human Linkage Center is no longer actively funded this web site continues to be supported and updated by staff at the Laboratory for Population Genetics, Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health(LPG/DCEG/NCI/NIH).
