Special Projects and Programs
There are a number of special projects and programs underway on the Fremont-Winema
National Forests. Sometimes these projects are related to the Forest's traditional
role of natural resource management, such as activities during the matsutake
season, sometimes they relate to new assignments made by Congress, like the
Rural Community Assistance program, and sometimes they relate to our role
in natural resource education, like the Resources and People Career Camp.
Choose from the menu below to learn more about some of these activities.
