SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED ACTIONS

An information guide for public involvement in the management of the Fremont and Winema National Forests' natural resources.

Welcome to the official Schedule of Proposed Actions (SOPA) for the Fremont-Winema National Forests in southern Oregon.

The proposed actions are listed by unit--national forest or ranger district. For more information about any proposed action, contact the person whose name is listed in the right hand column of the table. We invite your questions, concerns, and comments on any and all projects. If you are interested in projects on another Forest, please see our national SOPA website.

We publish the SOPA four times a year in January, April, July, and October. If you would like to receive a printed copy (via US Postal Service) of the SOPA please send your mailing address to our list maintainer. If you would like to save paper and postage, we will be happy to send you an e-mail when the new SOPA is available here. Just send an e-mail to our list maintainer to be included. You may also wish to check our project update page and subscribe to our syndicated feed to receive project updates as they occur.

Information and Use Request: If you use the project update page to track information about your project, please contact Glen Westlund. The information can also be taken from the project development page along with the documents posted. The Forest is thinking about removing the project update page because it is duplicate information. The forest is also considering a better method to inform you about the progress of projects that could involve a table format. If you have ideas about what you would like to see that would make it easier for you to track a project, please contact Glen Westlund.
