Colombia
In coordination with the Pan American Health
Organization and with CDC's Division of Violence Prevention, the International
Emergency and Refugee Health Branch (IERHB) supports a landmine injury
surveillance system in Colombia. IERHB
staff have also collaborated on mental health and trauma assessments related to
the ongoing conflict in Colombia.
El Salvador
As part of the CDC and Landmine Survivors
Network’s (LSN) cooperative agreement, the International Emergency and Refugee
Health Branch (IERHB) supports LSN’s landmine survivors peer support network.
In coordination with the Pan American Health Organization and with CDC's
Division of Violence Prevention, IERHB also supports a landmine injury
surveillance system in El Salvador.
Nicaragua
In coordination with the Pan American Health
Organization and with CDC's Division of Violence Prevention, the International
Emergency and Refugee Health Branch (IERHB) supports a landmine injury
surveillance system in Nicaragua.
