Teleconferences

As an additional benefit of membership in ACGA, members may participate in free teleconference workshops. Scheduled workshops are advertised in ACGA's monthly e-newsletter, available to all members.

These 60-90 minute workshops are held by conference call. Typically, conference calls occur during the day and have a maximum capacity of 35 people. Speakers are experts in their field. Most sessions have between one and three speakers. All participants are permited to ask questions of these experts towards the end of the call. All calls are recorded and moderated by ACGA staff.

Teleconference call topics scheduled for 2008 include: "How to Save Seeds", "Non-genetically Modified Seeds: Why Not", "Examples and Best Practices from Farm to School Programs", and "Making Organics Available to Everyone".
