A new Web page with information for the Laboratory work force on the contract transition process was unveiled this morning. The Web page is designed to be employees' primary tool to obtain information on the transition process, Laboratory Director Bob Kuckuck said in an all-employee memo.
"Updating employees and their families regarding the elements of the transition on a regular basis and offering a reliable official resource for such information will alleviate much of the uncertainly many of you may be experiencing in this time of change," said Kuckuck. The Web page, he said, is both convenient and easily reached, offering a forum for the dissemination of continuous information and the opportunity for employees to maintain dialogue with contract management by submitting questions online.
Some of the sections offered on the transition site include
• Transition resources - project team and implementation schedule information
• Links to news articles pertaining to the contract
• Lab announcements regarding new contract information
• University of California and Laboratory employee resources
• A question and answer feature.
The contract transition Web page can be found at http://transition-int.lanl.gov/ online. Click on the transition logo from the Daily Newsbulletin to go to the Web site. It also can be reached from the Laboratory's internal home page.
