Representatives from Quality New Mexico presented a facsimile check to the governor representing the in-kind dollar value to the state of QNM volunteers who teach "quality principles" to private businesses and public sector entities. At the presentation, Richardson reiterated the value of Quality New Mexico to the state in terms of promoting economic competitiveness. The Laboratory participated as a Diamond Award recipient from QNM. At least six Lab employees are Quality New Mexico examiners this year.
