Meetings planned for R&D 100 submissions

September 24, 2007

Lab has won 105 of these technology awards

Laboratory scientists and researchers can learn about the new process for submitting technologies for a 2008 R&D 100 award by attending an informational meeting on Tuesday or Wednesday at the Technology Transfer (TT) Division.

Tuesday's meeting begins at 9 a.m. and Wednesday's starts at 3 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Pecos Room at TT Division on Trinity Drive and will include a discussion about the new process for submitting entries, schedules and other requirements. TT Division coordinates submission of Laboratory technologies to R&D Magazine, which gives the awards.

Any new product, process, material, software, or system that has shown demonstrable technological significance compared with competing products during the 2007 calendar year is eligible for the 2008 competition.

Since 1978, the Laboratory has won 105 R&D 100 awards for technologies.
