Killer electrons heard on radio science show

Hi-Tech New Mexico

Reiner Friedel of International, Space, and Response (ISR) Division, coauthor of a recent paper in Nature Physics, is a featured guest on the KKOB radio show, "Hi-Tech New Mexico" this Sunday. The paper, "The Energization of Relativistic Electrons in the Outer Van Allen Radiation Belt," was written by Yue Chen, Geoffrey Reeves, and Friedel of Space Science and Applications (ISR-1).

Hi-Tech New Mexico airs at 10 a.m. It is a one-hour show devoted entirely to technology in New Mexico. The show gives a voice to the high-tech community and addresses the issues of economic growth, education, and the future of the state. The show is hosted by Mike Langner and features a variety of guests each week, with topics ranging from bio-tech/bio-med to DSL, and lasers to genome research and more.
