Fremont-Winema National Forests

Lakeview Ranger District:
Crooked Creek Juniper Reduction

This project would thin approximately 500 acres of encroaching juniper in the Crooked Creek area on National Forest and private land. All thinning would be accomplished by hand, using chainsaws. Treated junipers would be either hand piled and burned or some may be removed for firewood, post/poles etc.
