Updated November 25, 2008
- South Rim Fire Managers plan to complete burning of debris piles on Monday, December 1, weather permitting.
- November Fire declared out on the North Rim.
- There are no fire restrictions in effect today.
- There are no smoke advisories in effect today.
- Roads and facilities on the South Rim are open.
- North Rim roads will be closed to vehicular traffic starting December 1.
- Prescribed burns are planned this fall on the South Rim of the canyon. Visit our news release page below for the latest updates.
