LibraryVEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE INTEGRATION (VII) RESOURCES:While much of the work of the VII Coalition surrounds nationwide development and soon to be testing, there is also a lot of activity throughout the ITS industry such as state test beds, automotive R&D, and application development. The U.S. Department issued an update in July 2008 on the VII POC and program update accessible at www.itsa.org/itsa/files/VIIPOCProgramUpdate.doc.
ITS America is collecting information on all active projects that have vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-roadside elements and presenting them in this clearinghouse for the benefit of those engaged in VII. If you have a project or program that you think others should know about, please contact ITS America and share with the rest of the industry.

The audience is policy setters, decision-makers, and high-level program managers as well as traffic engineers and public transit planners.
Transit Signal Priority (TSP) Handbook The handbook goes deeper into TSP and provides technical guidance. It does not repeat everything in the overview and is meant to be a companion document. ITS America's Annual Reports These fair information and privacy principles were prepared in recognition of the importance of upholding individual privacy in implementing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The principles represent values and are designed to be flexible and durable to accommodate a broad scope of technological, social and cultural change. ITS America may, however, need to revisit them periodically to assure their applicability and effectiveness.
