The Utilization Center for Agricultural Products

at Iowa State University

The Utilization Center for Agricultural Products (UCAP) was established at Iowa State University to expand use of agricultural commodities and byproducts by developing value-added products for specific markets, improving processes and product quality, and transferring information and technology to industry and policy makers to strengthen the agricultural economy.  As a result of the reallocation of resources within the ISU College of Agriculture in 2001, the functions of UCAP have been distributed among appropriate academic departments and centers.
