WelcomeSection Services provides a wide variety of general and specific services to the Associations' 43 sections. We also act as the liaison between the sections and AWWA Headquarters. We've included a variety of section-related information in the navigational links on the left. However, if there's something you can't find or need additional information, please contact your Section Services representative. Each AWWA Section is a community. Through involvement in one of AWWA's 43 sections, water professionals can take advantage of local educational programs, network with peers, influence state or provincial legislation and regulations, and participate in the local and international organization. AWWA's Story The year of AWWA's birth was 1881, and what a year it was. You can watch a video of AWWA's history on line. Sections can also request a copy of the AWWA History DVD from your Section Services Representative.
