The Entomology Index of Internet Resources provides a means for entomologists and insect enthusiaists to organize the thousands of informational resources available. This community weeds out dated and useless material to focus on the best content and format into a single repository. We take great pride in the quality (not quantity) of our resources within the Entomology Index and not all sites are selected to be a part of the index.

To facilitate this selection process, submission guidelines have been created. Sites that violate these policies will not be included in the Index.

  • Don't submit a resource that is not related to insects. It won't be added.
  • Don't submit a resource that doesn't yet exist. Wait until you have the finished product.
  • We will not Index sites that contain illegal content such as material that infringes upon intellectual property rights.
  • Don't submit mirror sites.
