The
NFF is committed to building successful partnerships.
It stands apart from similar organizations through
its commitment to facilitating local involvement
and encouraging grass-roots participation in forest
stewardship. Together with the Forest Service,
the NFF has established the Partnership Resource
Center—a place where Forest Service staff,
partners and potential partners can find information,
share ideas, and learn from one another in an
open forum.
The site offers numerous tools for success. Here
is just a sample of what you will find on the
site:
- Tools, templates, and guides with information
on Forest Service grants and agreements, conflict
resolution, toolkits for partnerships, and
more;
- Training resources for developing core
competencies, leadership, etc.;
- Funding resources that include links to
fundraising databases;
- Volunteer information with a section to
list opportunities and internships;
- Research and technology resources focusing
on technology development, fire and collaboration;
- Success stories: read about what’s
worked for other partners;
- Calendar of events, and;
- A great list of publications, resources,
and websites.
