MEMBERSHIPS

Corporations participate in forest conservation by encouraging their customers and employees to become Friends of the Forest™ through their advertising and communications. Friends of the Forest empowers people to care for our National Forests through giving, volunteering, and enjoying unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Corporations can incorporate the positive, inviting message of becoming a Friend of the Forest into their marketing communications to help ensure these magnificent places continue to provide recreation, refuge, and resources for all Americans. Offering a Friend of the Forest invitation is, initially, a no-cost benefit to consumers and employees. Non-contributor “Friends” will learn about National Forests and opportunities to enjoy them via a monthly tree-mail™ newsletter.

Details on the Friends of the Forest membership levels and an opportunity for your company to become involved are available at www.becomeafriend.org.

Volunteer Opportunities

Opportunities for employees to participate in Friends of the Forest volunteer days or to join with other “Friends” in National Forest activities also are available. Friends of the Forest who contribute to the work of the National Forest Foundation at the $35 level or more, receive additional member benefits that increase with the contribution.

For information about your company offering a Friends of the Forest invitation through your marketing communications, please call:
