For several years, IFOAM has been operating following its policy on tender. This policy states that every assignment worth more than 5.000 euros has to be tendered through a public call. Anybody can submit an offer. The policy also sets the general criteria for the selection of the offers.
Cooperation between IFOAM and other organizations in the frame of project development or implementation is also governed by a specific policy: the policy on cooperation. Consultants or organizations who have a project idea to submit to IFOAM for consideration of cooperation should read this policy. Through these 2 policies, which are regularly updated or amended by the IFOAM World Board when needs arise, IFOAM ensures an open and fair process for recruitment of and cooperation with consultancies and other organizations.
IFOAM particularly encourages consultants from developing
countries to submit offers to IFOAM calls for tender.
