| Hawai'i's Forest Stewardship Program (FSP), administered by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DNLR-DOFAW), provides technical and financial assistance to owners of nonindustrial private forest land that are interested in conservation, restoration, and/or timber production. Please refer to the Forest Stewardship Handbook for more information and applications for the program. |  |
The Forest Stewardship Handbook contains all of the information that is needed by the forest landowner to participate in the program. Procedures for application, proposal and management plan content, forestry practices, cost-share rates, and more can be found within the Handbook.
Notice to Citizens and Communities
The annual report to the State Legislature regarding the Hawaii Forest Stewardship Program complies with Chapter 195F, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) and covers specific topics relating to the Forest Stewardship Program. This report covers actions taken through the past fiscal year as required to implement the statutory provisions of the program.
