What is podcasting?
Podcasting is a way of making a radio-type broadcast available on demand.
Podcasts typically are downloaded from Web sites and played on your computer or
on a portable media player such as an iPod®. More information about podcasting
is available through the following Web sites: Wikipedia; Yahoo® Podcasts.
How do I subscribe to a program as a podcast?
If you want to receive all new AHRQ program titles as they are published, you
can subscribe to the entire newscast series. You will need to add “podcatching”
software to your computer. Some software choices are available here:
(AHRQ doesn't endorse any subscription software. This
brief list is provided for your convenience.)
Once you have downloaded “podcatching” software to your computer open the section that allows you to "subscribe to a podcast." You will then be asked to copy and paste the podcast URL into the box provided. The Consumer and Clinician URLs are listed under the podcast descriptions above. After submitting the URL you will be copied on all AHRQ podcasts as they are posted. There is no charge to subscribe.
