JPAC holds its first regular session for 2005

 
Montreal, 3/03/2005 – The Joint Public Advisory Committee (JPAC) of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC) of North America will hold its first regular session for 2005 on Thursday, 14 April 2005, at the Hotel Hilton San Diego Harbor Island in San Diego, California. The event will be open to the public.

The purpose of this session will be to provide the public with an overview of the new CEC program that has been developed to implement the 2004 Puebla Declaration. Key members of the CEC Secretariat staff will be present to assist in the presentation and participate in a discussion on priorities for the program as it evolves to implement the Puebla Declaration next year and beyond.

Financial Assistance

Limited financial assistance is available for not-for-profit organizations and individuals who pre-register. Requests for financial assistance are limited to one person per organization. Please complete the appropriate section on the registration form. The deadline for submitting a request for financial assistance is 14 March 2005.
