Call for comments on trade and transportation corridors discussion paper

 
Montreal, 26/03/2001 – The North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation (NACEC) is inviting comment from the public on a discussion paper entitled, North American Trade and Transportation Corridors: Environmental Impacts and Mitigation Strategies.

The discussion paper, which looks at freight traffic in five transportation corridors-Vancouver-Seattle, Winnipeg-Fargo, Toronto-Detroit, San Antonio-Monterrey and Tucson-Hermosillo-was prepared for NACEC by ICF Consulting.

All comments received will be posted on the NACEC web site in their original languages. The closing date for comments is 4 May 2001. Please submit comments to Paul Miller, Air Quality Program Manager, by e-mail at pmiller@ccemtl.org or by mail at the address below.
