Requirements for Certified Laboratory status include:
• Having on staff an AOCS Approved Chemist for the analysis of Oilseed Meal
• Successfully participated in the Oilseed Meal series of the Laboratory Proficiency Program for one year prior to application
• Having an existing facility in which to perform the appropriate analysis at the time of the application
• Being willing to allow members of the AOCS Examination Board to inspect the laboratory facilities
• Accurately analyzing twelve blind check samples

All Certified Laboratories are listed in the AOCS Resource Directory, inform, the Official Methods and Recommended Practices of the AOCS, and the AOCS website.

AOCS headquarters must receive application forms and payments by August 1.

AOCS has a long history of providing its proficiency and accreditation services to a number of national and international organizations. Any mixture of sample types can be shipped to your laboratories with specific analytical and reporting requirements and AOCS will provide detailed reports according to international statistical guidelines or customized to your specifications.
