Sustainable Aquaculture Initiative
The Sustainable Aquaculture Initiative develops plant-based fish diets and pond management protocols for the Comprehensive Development Project (CODEP) in L’Acul, Haiti. The goal of this project is to offer the prospective Haitian fish farmer methods for producing fish using local resources. Make a secure donation online

Faculty and Student Support
Gifts in support of MBL's world-renowned courses in the biological sciences will help train the next generation of researchers.

Research Funds and Fellowships
The MBL provides the world's top biological and ecological scientists the resource support and intellectual environment needed to do their best research. Gifts provide income to recruit scientists and technical staff and to underwrite salaries, equipment, laboratories and supplies. Opportunities exist to support Centers, programs, or individual investigators.

Annual Fund
Essential to the success of the MBL each year, the annual fund covers costs not met by grants and fees, provides bridge funding when critical research must continue between grants, and seeds key strategic activities and new programs. Make a secure donation online

Alumni Fund
A way for alumni and others to help the MBL ensure financial assistance to students in our world-renowned advanced training courses. Make a secure donation online

Library

The MBLWHOI Library is one of the finest scientific libraries in the world, housing an exceptionally valuable collection of biomedical, oceanographic and biological literature and energetically expanding and exploiting electronic resources. Make a secure donation online

Campus Improvements
The MBL campus consists of 193 buildings that provide laboratory, housing, dining and office facilities. Constant maintenance and strategic renovations are necessary to meet the needs of a modern research and educational institution.

Other Funds
Opportunities exist to designate funds for a special project or for use at the discretion of the Director.
