At ECBC's imaging and optical analysis laboratories scientists and technicians develop tactical sensors as a first line of defense against chemical and biological attacks. They investigate chemical and biological contaminants in the environment, such as aerosols and vapors, and perform in-depth experimental investigations and characterizations.
