Welcome to the Louisiana 4-H Museum, slated to open in early 2009! Here we explore the history of 4-H in Louisiana from a 1908 corn club for 300 rural boys to an informal educational program with a wide variety of projects, camp experiences, and curriculum impacting over 175,000 girls and boys in rural and metropolitan areas all across the state.
The museum is located in Mansura, La. as part of a facility that includes the Avoyelles Parish Cooperative Extension Service, Southern University Extension Service, and the Avoyelles Commission of Tourism.
