Open House Webcast: The January 14, 2009 RCDC Open House Meeting will also be available via a webcast.

The first RCDC reports from research funded in fiscal year 2008 will be available with the release of the President's budget.

The RCDC system will provide a more open view of how NIH derives its funding reports. RCDC will continue to report funding in the same 215 research areas, conditions, and diseases that the NIH has historically reported to Congress and the public. For a current list of categories, please go to http://www.nih.gov/news/fundingresearchareas.htm

The RCDC reporting website will be part of www.report.nih.gov which will give users new information on NIH funded research including:

Total dollar amount
Complete list of NIH-funded projects within the category

Link to patents and publications associated with each project
