ALUMNI

Welcome Back!

UW College of Forest Resources alumni are trained as natural resources professionals, scientists, and educators. They fill positions of leadership in the region and across the nation. They are united by their commitment to education and discovery.

Reconnect with alumni through the College of Forest Resources Alumni Association (CFRAA) and the University of Washington Alumni Association (UWAA).

Take a look at the CFR Newsletter to learn more about teaching, research, and outreach at the College and to catch up on alumni news. The College's Public Events Calendar is also great way to find out about what is going on..

Our newest event featuring alumni is the Distinguished Alumni Seminar Series, welcoming home alumni who have gone on to become leaders in the private, public, and nongovernmental sectors in the U.S. and the world.

College of Forest Resources Community Service Day

Saturday, April 4, 2009 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: UW Botanic Gardens Union Bay Natural Area

In past years a luncheon brought together College of Forest Resources scholarship donors and recipients, a tradition that was interrupted at the end of the UW-wide campaign last spring. We would like to renew this event, though in a slightly different format.  Students have welcomed the idea of a service element to their commitment as scholarship recipients. Thus, we will invite our scholarship donors to join scholarship recipients in the Union Bay Natural Area to perform much-needed maintenance on the Centennial Grove, followed by an informal barbeque at the Center for Urban Horticulture.

Info: Stay tuned for details about this event!

And be sure to let us know what you’re doing; we want to hear from you!
